How do I get a book that Auraria Library does not own?

Answer

To find a book that Auraria Library doesn't have:

  1. You can search the Prospector catalog (Colorado and the University of Wyoming). 
    • If you're in the Skyline catalog and have searched for the title of the item, click on the Prospector icon at the top of the screen to search for it in Prospector.
    • If you're in Start My Research and have searched for the title of the item, click on the Colorado (Prospector) link in the upper right corner. 
  2. Once you've found the item in Prospector, click the “Request This Item” button and follow the prompts to provide your information.
    • If it is available, Prospector items usually arrive at the Ask Us Desk between 1 to 3 weeks.
  3. If your item is not available through Prospector, you can place a request through Interlibrary Loan
